Measures of Central Tendency

幫考網(wǎng)校 2020-08-05 11:38:09
Measures of central tendency are statistical measures that indicate the central or typical value of a set of data. The three most common measures of central tendency are:

1. Mean: The mean is the sum of all the values in a dataset divided by the total number of values. It is often referred to as the average.

2. Median: The median is the middle value in a dataset when the values are arranged in order from smallest to largest. If there is an even number of values, the median is the average of the two middle values.

3. Mode: The mode is the value that appears most frequently in a dataset. If there is no value that appears more than once, the dataset is said to have no mode.
