  那么今天就帶著大家來(lái)看一道OG19的新題，同時(shí)講解GMAC老頭出題套路 --核心語(yǔ)義轉(zhuǎn)換 。

  這道題讀完之后，我們會(huì)關(guān)注到選項(xiàng)之間的差異是 fears 后面加 that 還是of，那么不管加of還是that句子的語(yǔ)法結(jié)構(gòu)都是沒(méi)有問(wèn)題的，所以就要關(guān)注到語(yǔ)義的差別。

  DE選項(xiàng)中 that 從句后面整個(gè)句子都是核心要講的內(nèi)容，翻譯成" 提升了恐懼，恐懼的內(nèi)容是---供給不足以滿足這個(gè)冬天的需求 " 。

  而ABC中of后面的核心成分只有一個(gè)詞是supplies，翻譯成 " 提升了關(guān)于供給的恐懼 " 相比較來(lái)說(shuō)DE表達(dá)的語(yǔ)義更加完整我們會(huì)優(yōu)選DE。由于E選項(xiàng)更加的簡(jiǎn)潔和直接所以最終選擇E選項(xiàng)。

  通過(guò)這道題，引出我們今天想要講的主題是核心語(yǔ)義轉(zhuǎn)換問(wèn)題。這是GMAT句子改錯(cuò)出題經(jīng)常用的手法。首先我們看一道OG18出現(xiàn)過(guò)的一道非常相似的題目。

      例1

  這道題BCD都很好排除，我們就不贅述了，最后剩下兩個(gè)選項(xiàng)A和E， A用的是evidence for societies， E用的是 evidence that+ 從句，根據(jù)我們剛才講的內(nèi)容，很容易發(fā)現(xiàn)E更好，因?yàn)檎麄€(gè)這件事情都是evidence的內(nèi)容，而不是關(guān)于societies的evidence。

  說(shuō)到這里，同學(xué)們會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)這兩道題的共同點(diǎn)都是，同位語(yǔ)從句優(yōu)于 介詞+名詞+修飾語(yǔ)，沒(méi)錯(cuò)~ 就是這個(gè)規(guī)律! 但，其實(shí)核心語(yǔ)義轉(zhuǎn)換的思想不僅僅能夠用于 " 同位語(yǔ)從句優(yōu)于介詞+名詞+修飾語(yǔ) " 這個(gè)結(jié)構(gòu)當(dāng)中。 它有更廣泛的應(yīng)用，那就讓老師帶著你打開(kāi)新世界的大門吧~

  這道題很多同學(xué)在做這道題的時(shí)候，直接因?yàn)閎eing把B選項(xiàng)排除了。但其實(shí)你如果仔細(xì)讀語(yǔ)義的話，你會(huì)更能了解出題人的思路，運(yùn)用的就是我們剛才說(shuō)的核心語(yǔ)義轉(zhuǎn)換。

  B選項(xiàng)的主語(yǔ)是A ruined structure ，把found寫成了修飾成分，翻譯成" 朝東的方向，整體的設(shè)計(jì)以及工藝品表明了一個(gè)毀壞的結(jié)構(gòu)"， E 選項(xiàng)的主語(yǔ)是" That a ruined structure found at Aqaba, Jordan,was probably a church"，整個(gè)這件事是主語(yǔ)，翻譯成“朝東的方向，整體的設(shè)計(jì)以及工藝品表明了這個(gè)毀壞的結(jié)構(gòu)有可能是一個(gè)教堂”。 所以語(yǔ)義上一定是E更優(yōu)。
