科學(xué)家都認(rèn)為動物是憑著自己的本能去建造東西,但是最近發(fā)現(xiàn)動物其實也是learn knowledge,具體講了鳥筑巢的例子。鳥類筑巢其實是根據(jù)經(jīng)驗去學(xué)習(xí)的,否則無論鳥的年紀(jì)大小,筑好的巢應(yīng)該是一模一樣的。
方法1:weaver birds,在小的時候筑的巢會有洞,但是隨著鳥長大,后面造的窩會越來越結(jié)實,這就證明了在building the nest的過程中,這種鳥其實是有能力去學(xué)習(xí)的,learn from experience;
方法2:finch,實驗的人給了這組鳥兩種材質(zhì)的線,一種比較軟,一種比較硬。一開始這類鳥筑巢這兩種線都會去用,但是后來發(fā)現(xiàn)soft的線doesn\'t work,所以它們后來就只用另外一種線。

The professor takes two examples to explain it. First, weaver birds. When they are young, the nests they build have wholes. But as they grow up, the nests they build become stronger. It proves that in the process of building the nests, these birds have the ability to learn from experience.
Second, finch. The researchers gave them two kinds of threads, one soft ,one hard. At first, the birds used both threads to build nests. But later the birds found that the soft threads didn’t work. They only used the other kind of threads to build nests.
